Remember that delish Sloppy Joe Post? I teased you with that dessert. That wasn’t very nice of me.
HERE IT IS! Peanut Butter and Chocolate Crescents.
I am ashamed to call this a recipe as it is really just me dealing with my sweet tooth buy throwing some stuffs together.
Whatever?!?!
Got your crescent rolls? How about your PB? Chocolate chips? Grab some powdered sugar and let’s get going.
Put your oven on 375 degrees and let it heat up.
I usually use half of the crescent rolls – so 4 – instead of the full tube. Otherwise, I’d eat like 6 of these things in one sitting. I have issues with self control – BACK OFF.
Grab a dollop or two of Peanut butter – I use Creamy JIF. Add some confectioner’s sugar to it and mix it up. I’d say a 2:1 ratio here, so 2 parts PB to 1 part sugar. This just gives the Peanut Butter a thicker less stick- to- the- roof- of- your- mouth texture. It’s yummy. Just do it. Or don’t. I’ve done it both ways. It’s always good.
Separate your crescents into their happy little triangles and:
THEN:
Next, roll those bad boys up. make sure to really squish all the seams. You don’t want your good stuffs to leak out.
Okay now bake. About 10-12 minutes. Keep an eye on them. Once they are barely golden, they are good to go. Let them cool a minute or two (if you can) and dust them with powdered sugar.
EAT!!!
